About
Dr. Gary Gabel, Ed.D.
Dr. Gary Gabel, Ed.D. didn’t write The Constitution Kids to make civics louder—he wrote it to make civics click.
A lifelong educator and leadership expert, Gary has spent decades helping people understand complicated systems and take ownership of what comes next. He’s trained thousands—executives, managers, and teams—on accountability, communication, and high‑performance culture. His entrepreneurial work earned an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for Michigan service companies.
His journey began at Schoolcraft College, where he earned his Associate of Arts degree and discovered how education can reroute a life. Years later, he returned to serve as President of the Schoolcraft College Foundation Board of Governors, and was honored with the Distinguished Alumni Recognition Award.
Gary co‑founded Infinite Learning, creating practical training on leadership, “personal takeover,” and building strong teams. He’s also authored books on personal growth, including Personal Takeover and Day One (with Tom Buck).
With The Constitution Kids—a Mom’s Choice Gold Award honoree—Gary brings that same clarity to young readers through a time‑traveling adventure that makes every amendment understandable, memorable, and surprisingly fun.
He lives in Michigan with his wife, Lisa, and continues working with schools, civic groups, and communities who believe the next generation should know what the Constitution says—and why it matters.
